Earth and Water

The design for this piece was inspired by a piece of jewelry. The striations in the beige fabric represent sand along a shoreline, with the blue curves representing water lapping at the edges. Machine quilted with a wide variety of shapes in waves, pebbles and curls. Tiny blue beads have been hand-sewn to the navy sections to give the shimmer effect of water.
