A hand painted fabric, bordered with batiks features lighter sections hinting at the
shapes of distant seagulls. Free motion machine
quilting around the shapes in a wide variety of metallic threads. Additional pearl and bead
embellishments detail the bird silhouettes. Decorative yarns have
been couched around the inner border.
This piece can be hung in either a horizontal or vertical orientation.
