Callie

Callie was created for the 2007 Oshawa Fibre Art show auction to raise funds for the Toronto Osteoporosis Society. The theme was "Bone Appetite", so I researched for some high calcium foods for ideas. Her skirts are made of silk leaves and sheers to represent greens, she's holding a lace basket full of oranges and nuts (beads) and her neck and bodice are adorned with green peas (also beads). Green gardening gloves and high heeled boots complete her outfit. Face is painted, but not needle sculpted.
