Terra
Terra was my second doll. She was my first experiment with my own hand-drawn patterns and proportions. She is the second of my
"elemental" art dolls, representing EARTH. The brown rasta hair is a hand-dyed, variegated wool yarn, threaded with artificial bone and glass beads. The body fabric is a rich dark batik of dark green and brown, and her
garment is a black loose knit with gold sequins as if bits of Mica or Fool's Gold. She has wooden bead wrist and ankle
bracelets.
