The second in my African Endangered Species series, this bird is also  known as the Echo Parakeet, the world’s rarest parrot. 

Machine Appliqué, decorative yarn couching, hand painted details and free-motion machine quilted.

Awarded an Honourable Mention at The Grand National, Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery  2006.

Juried into 2007 Uxbridge Celebration of the Arts Juried Show, Ontario.

Awarded "Most Creative", one of top three awards at Beaux Arts Brampton's "Walk on the Wild Side" Wildlife Art Show,
Sept. 2009
