Navy and White Maple Leaf

 One more sample of my Canadian Maple Leaf pattern, this time using very traditional printed navy fabrics. This version does not use as many blocks as the pattern allows for, but I wanted to keep it smaller. The previous versions of the pattern used contemporary fabrics, and I wanted to see how some of my favourite traditional fabrics would work with the same pattern.

Free motion machine quilted with heavy navy, blue and white variegated cotton thread.
