Tree Line Sunset

Size: 44” w  x 21” h (2003)

Setacolour Fabric Paints were used to create this sunset skyline over a line of pine trees. Painted on one piece of fabric, the sunset colours are matched with rayon and cotton threads.  Dark threads were used within the tree line to simulate shapes of trees. Black yarns with gold metallic accents are couched onto the surface. Free motion machine quilted.
