Seascape Window I

This was commissioned by a customer who had seen the other window effect pieces in my other galleries here on the website. He and his wife chose the basic colours and overall dimensions. The sea was pieced, with one piece of hand painted fabric used for the sky. Once painted and pieced, it was cut up into windowpanes, strips added, and then pieced back together. This Artquilt now decorates a wall in their home in Japan.

Machine Applqued, Free motion machine quilted.
