Fire Lily

 Fire Lily was inspired by the works of Georgia O'Keefe. All fabrics are hand-painted.  The pieces were machine appliqued with invisible thread, then heavily machine quilted with rayon and cotton threads. 

"Fire Lily" was  juried into the 2002 Canadian Quilter's Association National Juried Show at the Edmonton Art Gallery, Alberta, Canada.
