"Appreciation"

  Over 300 pattern pieces were assembled to convey the faceted wine glass. The red wine is a hand-painted piece of fabric. Machine appliquéd, and free-motion machine quilted. This was a great experiment in just how small I can go with my pattern pieces and still turn under an edge on each piece. Click on closeups for detail shots.
