"Tap Dance Finale"

A water faucet emits it's last drop of water. This piece was created for the "Waterworks" theme exhibits at various art galleries in southern Ontario, 2003. The faucet was hand painted on one piece of fabric, with the handle and water drop pieced from other hand-painted fabrics.  Heavily free-motion machine quilted in cotton, variegated rayon and metallic threads. 

This is one of the pieces accepted into The Bluff's Gallery "Water Works" juried art show, June, 2003. 

“Tap Dance Finale” was also juried into the Uxbridge Celebration of the Arts, 2004 and won Reserve Best in Show.
