Glitter Gams
Size: 59” w x 79” ht.
(2003 - 2004)
This project was collaboration with Michelle Scott of Pitman, New Jersey. We got together for a fun weekend and drew up our design and painted fabrics. After that weekend, our project was mailed back and forth between
New Jersey and Canada over a 2-year period, as life got in the way of completing it. I pieced it,
then Michele machine quilted it, almost entirely from the bobbin, using thick decorative metallic threads. Further embellishments were couched on after it was quilted.
After I put on the binding, it was returned again to Michele for
upcoming show submissions in the US.
