Aqua Foliage
This was the first sunprint I did to demonstrate to my brother's family in North Carolina
on “How to Make a Sunprint”. We had taken a walk two nights before around the neighbourhood and collected various types of foliage. We pressed our collection between newspapers, set them under some heavy books, and let them flatten and dry
out overnight. This one was actually part of a tree, with very fine stems and wispy leaves. Free motion machine quilted.
Embellished with ribbons and yarns.
Size: 19” x 33”
