The fabric was painted with blues and burgundies, then small shapes were laid onto the surface to block the sunlight from developing the colour, leaving interesting graduating shapes of squares, hearts and circles.  Small beads have been sewn on to highlight the shapes. This is free motion machine quilted and measures 38" x 45.5".
