Soft Rose Sunprint One

This piece, and Soft Rose Sunprint Two, were originally all done on one piece of fabric. The more I studied it, the more I wanted to make two smaller ones, instead of one large one, so I cut it into two pieces. I used a variety of leaves collected from the park behind my house in Pickering.  Free motion machine quilted in soft coloured threads. Hand painted shadows and decorative yarns around the border and binding.
